Dear friends, My name is Carmen and I am 20 years old today. I began my requests long ago for my birthday but I really began celebrating last week when my mother came to visit me at Casa Lumina.
Today I went to town with Betty - to the restaurant Trotus. We sat out side and enjoyed an ice cream. Alina was also with us and she was reasonably well behaved though not as sophisticated as me. For my presents I had make-up, a pretty shoulder bag, a mauve and pink track suit, a watch, some beautiful earrings, a purse with money and my identity card inside it.
I think Betty is trying to make me pretty, pretty.
I would love my own room, please, please let me have that present next year. I shall be 21 years old then.
