27th January 2006

Here are some of the latest photographs of Casa Albert - taken on the 26th January 2006 - Thanks to our friend Adrian Woodroffe. The roof tiles and the velux windows have been installed - however, once again, works have ceased due to the snow. Over the next four months, we desperately need to raise the following amounts to be able to progress with works at this pace:

Electrical installations: £ 19,000
Heating and hot water: £ 25,000
External insulation and render: £ 8,500

If you feel that you can help us with the funds in any way please let us know. You can either contact us, or donate on line. See our How to Help - Donate page for more information, or How to Help - Fundraising for fundraising ideas and to register an event.

~On behalf of everyone at Cry in the Dark and most of all, the children that we're serving, thank you for your on-going support ~

Our good friend Angus Charlton took a crew of roofers out to Romania in the first week of December to work on site for a week. He has also funded much of the roof installation costs, which has helped us to continue works. We would like to thank Angus and his friends for all of their help.
